Los Angeles experienced citywide festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Local events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
